Sysdig launcheses Secure AI

Sysdig has launched Secure AI, an AI-powered cloud security agent designed for runtime cloud security. The product is explicitly positioned as a response to Anthropic’s Claude Mythos, which demonstrated that frontier AI models can autonomously discover and exploit vulnerabilities in mature codebases that had sat unnoticed for years.

Secure AI brings Sysdig’s runtime intelligence to AI agents, enabling them to run cloud security operations directly. The launch includes three agents covering the full security lifecycle: a Posture Agent, a Risk Agent, and a Response Agent. Sysdig frames the move as a way to stay ahead of attackers who have gone AI-first, particularly for teams already using AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. The new Headless Cloud Security feature integrates Sysdig’s intelligence directly into those tools, turning coding agents into security experts that can generate fixes and open pull requests in the same repo.

The three-agent team

Secure AI ships with three agents: a Posture Agent, a Risk Agent, and a Response Agent. Together they cover the full security lifecycle from prevention through response, replacing the manual triage and remediation workflows that most teams still run by hand.

The Posture Agent handles the initial scan and baseline, the Risk Agent scores and triages findings, and the Response Agent generates the fix and opens the pull request. Sysdig frames the trio as the team that does the work a seasoned analyst would, but in the same pass.

Headless Cloud Security for coding agents

Headless Cloud Security is the integration layer that puts Sysdig’s runtime intelligence directly inside the three AI coding agents teams are already running: Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. Instead of a separate security tool, the agent now runs cloud security operations in the same session where the code is being written.

The workflow is a single pass. The engineer picks up the ticket in Claude Code, and the remediation skill generates the pull request straight into the repo. That’s the same repo where the vulnerability was found, so the fix lands where the code lives. Sysdig positions this as the way to keep pace with attackers who have gone AI-first, particularly for teams that are already shipping code through Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.

Key points

  • Sysdig launches Secure AI, an AI-powered cloud security agent, explicitly citing Anthropic's Claude Mythos as the catalyst that proved frontier AI can autonomously discover and exploit vulnerabilities in mature codebases.
  • The agent suite includes three agents: Posture Agent, Risk Agent, and Response Agent, covering the full security lifecycle from prevention to response.
  • Headless Cloud Security brings Sysdig's runtime intelligence directly into AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, turning them into security experts that generate pull requests for fixes.
  • Claude Mythos was announced April 7, 2026 (after an accidental leak on March 26) and was given invite-only access to 50+ organizations including AWS, Apple, Cisco, Google, Linux Foundation, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Palo Alto because of its ability to find and write exploits for software vulnerabilities.
  • The Posture Agent handles runtime exposure and opens the fix ticket, the Risk Agent triages and scores the vuln, and the Response Agent generates the remediation PR in the engineer's repo via Claude Code.
